What are some reasons stated in the article why some people choose to have body art like tattoos or piercings done on parts of their body.

Those people wanted to be unique and special compared to the others, they also want to express themselves.

(a) What are some impressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?

I will think that that person is a gangster, that is commonly found on gangsters. My view towards them is a negative view, normally people will shun or avoid people whose body is covered with tattoo. Perhaps having a small one that is not so noticable is ok but not those which cover the whole body/arm/leg.

(b) Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?

I will not want to get a tattoo in my entire life. From my view of point, I do not want people to think that I'm a gangster or even avoid me. Removing a tattoo is not easy too, it may cause more pain compared to drawing a tattoo. It may not be good for health too, because it is drawn on the skin, so it may cause some skin problems and it is very troublesome.

Sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex.

What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex?

Those girls might feel that there is nothing wrong having sex. It is said that sex is the "IN" thing to do now and it is quite common among girls under 16. Perhaps the reason for them is peer pressure. Some bad friends encourage the girls to have sex and the worst consequence is that if the girl gets pregnant or diagnosed with sexually transmitted disease like aids, their parents would go berserk.

If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in
sex, what would your advice to him/her be?

After reading this article, i found out that teenagers are getting bolder nowadays. Underage sex is against the law, I am sure those who were caught red-handed would have a regretful feeling because for the male party, he may get charged for rape. The female party may get pregnant or diagnosed with SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE. These things are not to be dwelled with, there may be serious consequences for such cases.

If one day, my close friend confess to me that he/she has been engaging in sex, I would advice him not to do so. I will scare him/her with serious consequences and would discourage him/her to do such an atrocious thing. This would be a letdown to his/her family, friends and even schoolmate. I am sure that "my close friend" would want to lead a life where there's no ups and downs. If him/her shall turn a deaf ear to me, then I would just watch that person suffer. Getting charged in court, name announced to the whole school, public caning, suspend from school. These may be the punishment, something that will have a great impact in a life. If that close friend of mine really got into this trouble, I will mock at the person, for being foolish.

TUITION CRAZY

Question 1: State any two reasons why extra tuition was necessary.

1. Extra tuition is necessary because you do not understand what the school teacher teaches.

2. You think that you are not learning enough.

Question 2: Do you think it is necessary for you to have tuition? Why?

Having tuition is optional. For me, perhaps having Additional Mathematics tuition will help because it requires skills and practice. Skills can be attained from either your tutor or the school teacher. Practice : it all depends on oneself. You do your part, the tutor and teacher do their part, there will be hope for scoring a distinction for that subject. For subjects like Science, reading and memorising is important. A tutor could not help you expand your memory so that you could memorise more.
